The Schreckblich/Colterenzio winery is located in Cornaiano, one of the several picturesque villages nestling among vineyards in the area of cool, rolling vine-covered hills to the south of Bolzano. These hills, crafted and smoothened by glaciers during the last Ice Age, comprise Alto Adige’s largest self-contained wine-growing area. Its wines unite crisp, Alpine fragrance with Mediterraneancspice and warmth.

between 230 and 650 m a.s.l. 12 varieties cultivated. Sustainable viticulture, hand-picked grapes, innovative grape processing techniques. 45% of production is red wine, 55% white wine. 300 days of sunshine a year. 800 mm precipitation. 30 qualifi ed staff members. Environmentally friendly: 175,000 kWh/year supplied from a photovoltaic installation. 70% of hot water requirements provided by solar panel and a new heat recovery system (2010).
